Chinatown Square

Rental Policy & Application Process

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in renting space at Chinatown Square. We want to clarify that Chinatown Square is private property, not a public park or town square. While we welcome community-oriented events, rentals are subject to approval based on their alignment with our mission.

Additionally, Chinatown Square Association (CSA) is not a rental business, nor do we rent out the Square simply for commercial gain. Our priority is to serve the property owners of Chinatown Square, and any rental consideration is for the community, by the community—supporting events and activities that enrich Chinatown.

Please also understand that reviewing applications is not our primary work. CSA represents property owners, and our small team has limited time to manage rental applications. Excessive inquiries about application status will only slow the process and divert attention from essential daily operations.

Furthermore, all applicants must meet CSA’s insurance requirements. This is non-negotiable. If you cannot fulfill the insurance requirement, your application will be automatically denied. If you do not currently have the required liability insurance, please obtain a policy before applying.

Lastly, please be aware that CSA does not assume any liability for any potential loss or issue related to your event. Any risks, financial or otherwise, are solely your own responsibility.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we review submissions. If your event aligns with our mission and meets all requirements, we look forward to supporting a gathering that benefits the Chinatown community.

Best regards,

Chinatown Square Association
